DO'S & DON'TS
Creating a beautiful eyebrow shape is an art form, and at Sarah Victor Beauty Studio, we have mastered the skill. During your appointment, our Permanent Makeup Artists will discuss your desired outcome and provide you with a customized brow shape and color that enhances your natural beauty. With our attention to detail, you can rest assured that you’re in good hands.
Do's
Prior to your cosmetic enhancement think about the look that you wish to achieve. Cosmetic enhancements normally require multiple application sessions.
To achieve the best results you will be required to return for at least one additional enhancement 5-8 weeks after the initial application/session which is included in the cost. If you require additional enhancements after this, the cost starts at $400 per session.
Don'ts
DO NOT consume NSAID medication (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Excedrin, Advil, etc.) at least 48-hours prior to your appointment. Tylenol may be taken if needed.
DO NOT discontinue any prescribed medication before consulting your doctor.
DO NOT consume alcohol at least 24-hours prior to your appointment. Reason being is blood flows quicker when we ingest alcohol. Keeping the excretion of blood and lymphatic drainage to a minimum will ensure your pigment retention.
DO NOT use Retin-A or Vitamin C products close to the enhancement area at least 1 week prior to and after your procedure.
DO NOT use AHA skincare products close to the enhancement area at least 3 weeks prior to and after your procedure.
What to expect
You will arrive and we'll head over to our mapping station where we'll begin by taking your before photos and videos.
Following that is where your Artist will figure out where your brows will start, stop, arch and what size they'll be. Don't worry though, you have say in what you want and we go over this extensively during this part!
Now you'll be numbing for 25-30 minutes while waiting in our lounge area. We've got an assortment of snacks and beverages for your enjoyment while you wait.
Finally we get to the good part. Let's head back in to the Tattoo Studio to get this party started! Be sure you're able to lay down on your back for 40+ minutes. We do keep you comfortable with an assortment of body pillows and a neck pillow during your appointment. We even have a blanket and fidget toys if you're nervous or chilly.
When we're done, be prepared for the color intensity to be significantly sharper and darker immediately after the procedure. This will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This process can take up to 14 days.
