FOR ALL PERMANENT MAKE-UP SERVICES:

 

If you are planning to or have received your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, please read the following carefully.

 

It typically takes a few weeks for your body to build immunity against any vaccination. During this time, permanent makeup services are NOT recommended. 

 

You MUST WAIT at least 14 days after a permanent makeup procedure to get your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination. If you have already received your first dose, no permanent makeup services should be done until after your second dose. Please wait a MINIMUM of 14 days after your second dose to book your permanent makeup service(s).

 

At SVB, we would like to ensure every precaution is taken. If you have received or are planning to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please check your schedule to make sure you are adhering to the above restrictions. If you need to reschedule your currently booked permanent makeup service(s), please contact us immediately at the studio. Your safety is of the utmost importance. Thank you for all of your continuous support and love during these trying times!

 

NOTE: Should any of your appointments need to be rescheduled due to COVID-19 circumstances, we will try our best to accommodate you. This pertains to: being exposed, quarantine after travel, vaccine dosages, and/or if you are exhibiting symptoms. This is a trying time for small businesses and our policy for COVID related reschedules/cancellations remain strict. 

 

*ALL appointments at SVB, inlcuding permanent make-up*, that are cancelled or rescheduled in less than 48 hours from your appointment date and exact time will forfeit the retainer and the authorized credit card that you confirm your appointment(s) with will be charged 50% of the total service price at the time of  cancellation/reschedule of your appointment.*

Please understand that if you cancel your appointment without giving us ample notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time for other clients on our waiting list. If you need to move your appointment, please give us a MINIMUM of 48 hours notice for whatever reason.

**If your credit/debit card does not process through at the time of appointment abandonment, you will be required to pay the missed appointment amount in full prior to booking any future appointment. 

If you don't attend your appointment at your scheduled time and were planning to use a Gift Card/Voucher, the voucher or Gift Card will be automatically redeemed first before charging the authorized credit card you confirm your appointment with.**

COVID-19 faq's

Will I lose my retainer if I cancel or reschedule after the 48-hour cancellation/reschedule strict policy due to COVID-19 circumstances?

This pertains to: being exposed, quarantine after travel, vaccine dosages, and/or if you are exhibiting symptoms. This is a trying time for small businesses and our policy for COVID related reschedules/cancellations remain strict. 
 
Generally, retainers are forfeit for all Permanent Make-Up services if your appointment is cancelled/rescheduled less than 48-hours prior to the exact appointment date and time. However, we do make some exceptions for Professional and Medical purposes. We require an email or a letterhead from your place of employment or from your medical provider to transfer your retainer to another day, otherwise, your retainer is forfeit.



I've been exposed to COVID-19/I am experiencing symptoms of COVID-19/I have symptoms but I don't know if it is COVID-19 related. What should I do?

*If you are experiencing ANY SYMPTOMS or feel sick, STAY HOME!*

Should any of your already scheduled appointments need to be rescheduled/cancelled due to COVID-19 circumstances, we will try our best to accommodate you. This pertains to: being exposed, quarantine after travel and/or if you are exhibiting any symptoms. Our strict 48-hour cancellation/reschedule policy for COVID related circumstances remain strict.

Do I have to wear a face covering when inside SVB?

Any person in a public place in Connecticut who cannot maintain a safe social distance of at least six feet and is NOT vaccinated MUST cover their mouth and nose with a mask or cloth face-covering. If you are fully vaccinated, please feel free to not wear a mask!

*Please note that we have the right to refuse service from customers not wearing masks that are not fully vaccinated.*


Can I bring my husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, baby/infant/toddler/child, dog, fish, ferret, Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, Mama, koala, Cousin, turtle, tarantula, snake, or cat with me inside SVB during my appointment?

Please only come inside if you have an appointment booked with one of our service providers. However, if you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied at the time of your appointment by a parent or legal guardian to receive any service at SVB.
